Wire-Plus Install Question

I'm getting ready to tackle a wire-plus install on my 06 K-9 and have read through all the related threads but still have a question for those who have been down this road:

Would you recommend tinning the wires with solder before inserting and crimping them into the Deutsch pins?

Seems to me it can only help but just triple checking before starting the project.

I tin the very tip of the crimp area and try not to go past that as the wire itself looses all it flexibility

A stranded wire that has been soldered will not properly hold a crimp. If the crimp is properly done then that's all that needs to be done.
