Depends on how much you want to spend. Do a search on Batteries and see what others are using, or what works best for them.

I've had the Braille (good battery) but I like my Tomioka better as there are more cold cranking amps. Ran it in my 03 Pitbull and now running it in my K9. I don't use a battery tender and it always cranks over

Braille makes a great battery and probably the first choice of many on this site. I use a harley oem softail battery and its been flawless for me.

Five Five; can you give me the model number etc. of the Tomika? The vendors don't seem to have an application for the BD's.

when buying the tomiaka battery....did you guys buy the optional alluminum bracket? or no?

I opted for the Braille through Auto Anything. Couldn't pass up that price and the 525 CCA of the B2015 kicks a**! It came in today and the start-up was instantaneous. Very happy with that!

I was wrong on that last post. CCA of the Braille is 425. Total cranking amps is 595. As it turns out, price and convenience were an issue in that Mike at Auto Anything was excellent to deal with, a good discount and free shipping.

cranking amps is more useful than cold cranking amps as a measure unless your out riding in sub freezing temperatures, and IM betting very few of us have cranked our Big Dogs @ 0 degree's F
