I am now the proud owner of a 4" Karata. Very impresive piece of equipment. The belt is huge. I can't imagine the 5". I plan on doing a comprehensive "How-Not-To" install with The Infamous one soon. Pics to follow in a couple weeks.

I never heard one but I've been told all open primaries are loud as hell. To the point you think something's wrong if you're not expecting it.

I think its more clutch noise than anything when at a stop.

You definitely know more than me, I'm just going by what I was told. I could be completely wrong, but the guy telling me acting like the belt was loud also.

When you see the fab that it takes to build it is impressive and American made. The cost is fair considering that.
