Where to buy easy pull?

I've just finished reading an hours worth of clutch info. Great stuff. Everything from clutch adjustments/replacements to efm auto clutch, bandits, ball ramp info, Barnett cables and easy pulls with new clutch packs and without. Its like i just plugged into the matrix and got a download on how to replace a clutch and cable! I say this because there's some irritation when a newbie asks a question that's been covered several times over the past 5 years. :bang:  Understandable. So I've done my best to help myself. :2thumbs:

Now I just need to know where to buy what I need. I'd like to try the ball ramp without changing the clutch pack and my cable is worn where it rubs inside the down tube clamp, so I'd like a new cable also. Appears most have had luck with just the ball ramp replacement as long as your not a hot rodder. Bdm's website is not giving me results and I'm sure it would be cheaper elsewhere. I read several postings stating this mod is under $100. No luck on fleabay either.

In 2008 someone did mention a shops name but google returned nothing so I'm guessing they are not around anymore. This seemed to be a hot topic in 08.

I found this on bakers site 9-Plate Ball & Ramp Set, Big Dog 2005-2010 | Baker Drivetrain. Is this what I can use with the stock 12 Plate?

I'm not opposed to switching to the 9 plate, just thought I'd try this first.

Anyone point me in the right direction? Or show me a post from 3 days ago that I missed!

Good to know. I think I'll go ahead and switch it. Since its down for winter anyway. Looks like the 9 plate is less than $200 and the ball ramp is $40. Small price to pay for longer rides without the sore arm.

I wish I had more money.
Are you right or left handed?

You can call Barnett and get a new clutch cable with housing if the housing is worn badly. I switched my handlebars last year and they made up custom length cables for me to make the bars work perfectly.

Right. My clutch is extremely stiff. Always has been. Assuming its normal.

Have you lubed the cable, clutch lever inside of control and ensured the ball & ramp has plenty of grease?

When WildSteedWorx starts to sell any product I would recommend to buy from them. They dont just sell parts. The give great advice, they ride, they know how to work on BigDog, and most importantly...they know thier shit and are very professional and respectful towards thier customers.

Yes. Thanks to some info you posted about keeping yours lubed and not having any issues. From the lever end only though. Planning on disassembling the business end tomorrow and will inspect the ramp plates. Thxs
