Looking at 2005 Bulldog in California near orange county, but I live in PA. Hate to buy without someone looking at it, although looks great in pics. Are there any companies that will do an inspection? And I am sure the freight is about $1000 to get here ( read the shipping posts).
Thanks guys.

I live in St. Louis and purchased a bike from a guy in Michigan. We had many conversations and both got very comfortable with one another before the deal was made...and he turned out to be one of the nicest guys I'd ever met. Yes, freight cost me $700 but it sure beat the drive up and back. Best of luck to you

I knew there was a reason why

I knew there was a reason why I joined this forum. Big Dog owners are the best!

I wish I had more money.
I bought from a guy in the Carolina's. sight unseen besides a few photos. Hindsight being what it is I prolly would have done things a little different. I did good though. I got on uship.com and struck a deal for another guy to move the bike from there to St. Louis for $350.00.

You have to be careful too. One guy here got burned proper on here buying on the net.

Agree with krkostecki. I like to get a good vibe from the seller or I walk.

I found mine on the net but met him in person to get the bike. I would definitely buy one completely through the net though if the situation was right. If the price was right and I could somehow verify the sellers reputation such as eBay, I would.

Bad ass Movie!! I'm not much on Val Kilmer but he nailed the Doc Holiday character.

I bought one off of e-bay back in November but it was from a well know Harley Dealership. The transaction and shipment of the scoot went smoothly.

Three of my last four bikes were purchased through the internet. All were from small dealers and never seen except for photos. All were shipped to me (uShip and Haul Bikes) so I guess you could say I'm a gamblin' man. But I've been happy with all of the results. The last one had an issue but no way could I have expected the seller to be aware of it and probably not even the owner could have known. Even now I'm looking at possibly adding a Ridgeback to my garage. Again through the internet. Call me crazy??
