Paul, I saw the ones he has that look like they are metal (silver colored) But they are plastic. They look like metal until you touch them and notice they are plastic. Pretty cool lookin.
Yes sir. All of the keys and bolts are 100% cast resin. Extremely hard and durable plastic. This keeps the weight down.
Anytime I go to swap meets, I take with me my belly flop skulls and a 4lb hammer. Anytime someone asks how durable, i let them take a whack. Typically takes about 3-5 good hits to break it.
Anyway. Here are a couple with the silver "Paint", which would look perfect on the MK5 helmet. FYI, the silver is actually molded into the resin. so it wont come off. One of the photos also shows one that I added a keychain for those that the key vibrates out.
