Whacko'sjust another good guyI have one that has 35K on it from my 04 chopper. SD doesnt care how many miles are on mine. I might be able to swap if your is working good too

if the vehicle or motorcycle is from out of state it needs to have at least 7500 miles in order to register in Ca. unless it was build to meet ca emissions. POS law. Dakota Digital can do the trick then change it back or leave it on. Thats what I did with an 07 Bulldog I bought out of state. Why do you need 5500 more miles to register in CA? I have never heard of such a requirement. How would you register a new bike with 0 miles?

Here in the semi-cold tundra of Tennessee they could care less about motorcycle emissions but we do have to run our other vehicles through the dreaded "Marta" including my deisel truck. They go back to a certain year of vehicle and you don't have to do it at all. We had a running joke of them for several years when I used to drive this old clunker car to work and leave my truck at home. I would take the car through the marta place close to home and it would fail as it always did, I expected it, it looked and ran like crap, it looked more like crap than it ran like crap really. It got me back and forth to work. When it failed, which I expected everytime. I drove it straight down to the next location and did absolutely nothing to it and it passed with flying colors. The other location was in a more run down neighborhood where this kind of sporty vehicle was the norm..Ca. Emissions on used equipment. It's a tree hugger thing.
That's how stupid the system is. No logic or am I the stupid one? NOLTT is my name. "No one listens to turtle" as the slow one thinksit out:WTF? Why do you need miles to register a bike? Fuckin KaliforniaWhacko's

As for tree huggers here in Tennessee my "Grandfather" was an ole school logger all his life. Chainsaws are plentiful still today. I will leave it at that!
