Chopper build off?

As bad as I hate to say it, I'm thinking jr will win again this year just because of the viewer base and nobody(well almost no one) wants to see the kids get beat up on by an asshole parent. If he don't it will be the gas monkey boys.

Good point, but then there may be some old folks that would rather see the old man not get beat by a smart ass son!

Then you have an arrogant Jesse James, but who can defiantly build and has some impressive skills.

Then watching, the Gas Monkey's, even they played for the show and seemed to be pushed to be BS artist and braggards too. Not as bad as some of the stuff that the Teutals have done over the years, nor the look at me, I am the best at everything of JJ, but still BS for the show.

To be honest, if things were different and there were no cameras around, hell they may all be ok and someone to enjoy a good beer with (well maybe not the Teutals since I did see how they treated their fans after they got big at one of the bike events). One of coolest and down to earth of the Big Builders I ever met was Russel Mitchell of Exile. Saw him a few year at Carlisle and got to talk to him each time, very cool, had time to BS about bikes and life, was very nice to my youngest daughter and never sought anything in return other than a wish for a good day.

Damn I need to go find some work and get off my arse. Spending too much time watching BS shows and discussing same on forums.

Time to start finding me a good project for the new year and hopefully somewhere that people do not want to shoot at me or blow themself up around others so often.

Maybe I should go for a ride since the sun is out, temp is in the upper 40's and already played the guitar for the day.

Think Gas Monkey would have a better shot if they had a different color scheme. Really liked the bike and what they were trying to accomplish. Jesse built a pocket bike ?!

It's definatlety a cool bike, but I would've done a different color for sure. For me, it's between Jesse and Gas Monkey. Jesse definately has the biggest ego, but he has the most skills(I gotta respect that). Built his bike from the ground up. I agree, it did look like something Roland Sands does. Jesse just put his touches on it.

Gas Monkey, with exception to the color(wouldn't have been my 1st choice), built a badass bike. They did it the old school way. Mad respect to those guys as well.

Sr. & Jr., I don't they personally fab'd anything on there bikes. Jr. should finish last on this one.

I'd have to with Gas Monkey though. I'm sure at least 85% of the people twitting didn't own a bike. With that said, Jr. has a chance. We'll see tonight.

Kind of hate to say it but JR will win again. The forks on Sr's bike kill it for me. I was casually watching last night so to me it looks like Gas Monkey put new paint on an old bike. I simply can't stand listening to JJ talk.

My thoughts are, it's a chopper show, and I like choppers, not Buels, street fighters or Moto GT.

Gas Monkey's bike is not bad, but not my taste. And pink?.....sorry , NOT.

In the end on the bikes merrits, not the personality, and my style.......Jr got my vote.

Moespeed has got them all beat in talent and bike builds. I would put Moespeed against Jessie or anyone on that stage with out thought.

I guess it was another popularity contest. I don't think Sr or Jr did any hands on work on their bikes, their "teams" did all the work. Discovery needs to go back to Biker Build-Off the series. Get back to guys that get their hands dirty designing and fab-ing their bikes, then riding them 500 miles.
