Just received my 2007 K9. Once I put a charge on the battery, it fired right up in the 45 degree weather. That impressed me as my neighbors 2005 or 2006 Ridgeback is very hard to start in the cold.

On that note, what can I do to make this machine as bullet proof as possible? It has around 3000 miles on it and the Speed-O has already been replaced with the Dakota(?). It currently has the EHC with the 18 lights and I know the EHC seems to be a weak component of the Big Dogs.

Would anyone recommend proactively replacing the EHC with the WirePlus or new PDM?
Also, where can I get a service manual so that I can do some work myself? I am no mechanic but I am fairly mechanical.

Any thing else I need to be aware of?
