LED License Plate Board?

Ok after searching far and wide on the World Wide Web I have struck zero on where to find the 4 LED light small board that lights up our license plate. I now only have 2 of the 4 led bulbs work on it and was wondering if there are replacement boards out there or do I just need to get the soldering kit out and run by radio shack and replace the LED Bulbs myself?:confused:

I had the same issue last year, what I did was I went to my local small town electronic store and talked to the guy behind the counter, he matched the LED lights to the small LED board, and I found a guy to professionally solder the new ones , (I replaced all four), and it cost me, $20 for the guy to solder the lights and just a few bucks for the LEDs, and now they work great! No more issues!

Yeah thats what I thought, I did the same thing to my temp controls on my car. You had to buy the whole set up for freakin $350 just to get 2 LED lights replaced. So pulled the board and went to Radio Shack and got the LED lights and just soldered them in myself!

Thanks rmgrounds do you remember the exact bulbs you got for the replacement? I can do it but if I run into trouble I will take you up on that offer thanks!!:cheers:

Radio shack has the LEDs I replaced all mine on my Ridgeback...:D :2thumbs:

I think there is no way to replace them. Have some new ones now

It is just go to job lot store and get one of the muti arm pinch clip things that they use to make flys for fly fishing .There also is a magnifing glass on it to hold the board.

Board is on its way. I did include some black and red wire but not long enough to do the whole job. Hope you can use and get you fixed up.
