My nieghbor just ordered a bag from these guys. Their products look pretty good. Anybody ever order anything from them? My plate won't allow mounting on left side. Pipes might be in way on the right but i am checking it out. Cool bags though....Garage Leathers | Solo Bags for Rigid Frames

This place makes an awesome solo bag. Had mine for years and it still looks new after 25k miles. Think maybe some pics of it in my gallery.
They sent me an original template that I marked up to clear the big radius pipes. Can't remember the gals name but she probably still has the template. She said they could modify for different pipes, etc. at no charge!

I have a leatherworks on my 05 ridgeback as well. Great bag and holds up to water, sun etc. If they guys here on the forum are making some, it might be worth the wait though :)

Yeah I have an 03 Chopper and the same situation. I want to mount a solo saddle bag but I can't on the left because of the plate and the exhaust is in the way on the right. I think what I am going to do is just move my plate to make room. I was thinking of moving it further back on the left side or getting one of those mounting brackets that share the mount with the brake calipre on the right.

The bags for the rigids are nice but what about all the softtail guys. Thats what were mainly trying to address. My first 03 chop I wanted saddlebags for and everyone just laughed at me. Still don't get it. To each their own. If you think they shouldn't have sadlle bags then don't put them on your ride but me personally I like the bags when Im on a long ride.

Custom to fit big radius pipes. Corner cut away and mounting straps repositioned.

Here are some pics of mine. Had them custom make it for me to fit on the left side. I got it from Leatherworks Inc. and the model # is 322L

Are those mounted to the swingarm?
Yes, they sent me a paper template and I marked locations for the straps and also the cut out to fit exhaust. I think it's the 312 chopper bag. Great company. If nothing else maybe you could get them to send the template. Give you guys a starting point to work from...

I do like their bags
I think Im going to finish up the design for the mount system and then get with them to see about having them supply the bags.
WSW's bag system will not mount to the swingarm.
