Coincidence ???

Installed a Baker Open Primary last month. Noticed the Baker clutch pull was "significantly" harder than the Bandit clutch it replaced.
Out joy riding last weekend and bazinga...the clutch cable breaks !!
Luckily I was only a couple miles from home so I was able to limp home without too much trouble.
Have about 5000 miles on the bike. Coincidence, or did i screw something up when installing the Baker??

My original clutch cable broke on me with low miles, around 2500 if I remember right. If it's the original, it maybe coincidence.

My Bandit is harder, I have two shims in it and plan on taking one out. I cant keep it adjusted since I put it in but it grabs like a MOFO!

Bandit was easier than the original stock clutch on mine....the Baker is tough
