Kick stand is gone

Went to doctor today. Got prescription filled and went to CVS and my kickstand was gone. Damn bike. That thing pisses me off sometimes

Yeah, fixed that and pulled bolts, chased threads and loctited down and today its gone

Hi Ray, I was sent to loctite seminars through where I worked. If you don't clean the bolt with electrical contact cleaner and the bolts before you apply the loctite it will not harden properly as it is an anerobic which hardens in the lack of air (oxygen). Even if you touch the threads of the bolt with your fingers the oil from your fingers is enough to screw up the bond. Hope this helps!:flag:

I have 2 throttle/return that are yours if you want them. They were Harley cables so I had to use a longer butterfly adapter on my carb. They are in great condition but I bought new cables just to go back to the originals and don't plan on using them.

I always used Lacquer Thinner or brake cleaner to get rid of the oil and whatever else was in the threads, but it also leaves a white film. I'll have to try some electrical juice. Thanks

Oh, Captain America ,,,unless you pull your boat with a jeep cherokee and it is in Tennessee. I saw it this morning at the Waffle House off of I-40. If you had your boat at home you could lean Raywood's scoot up against the boat and free up your truck.
