Fork question

Does anyone happen to know the thread diameter and pitch on the cap bolts on the fork tubes? These are the bolts you remove to add oil. I couldn't get the caps to break loose from the tubes, so I took the forks to a local shop to see if they could help me out. They ended up heating the tubes and backing them off with an impact wrench. Now the caps are warped a little and I can't put the bolts back in. Hoping to locate a tap tomorrow to see if I can chace them out. Not sure that will work. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry, can't help with your question, but god forbid, should you get to the point you need a front end, I have one like new complete.

onaprwl, appreciate that. Hopefully, I can just run it out or get just that part. Just finished changing the seals and everything else looks good:2thumbs:

It is an 04 Mastiff and I believe it has Showa forks. The threads turned out to be M16x1.5 fine thread. Hat's off to Strokers. Had the tap and ran it out for me.
