BD Tampa - Sad Day

Sad times indeed.... BigDog Tampa has closed it's doors and re-opened up the road 3 miles as "BigDogs and Hogs". They no longer sell bikes, just fix them.

Everyone you once knew from there is gone, with the exception of Travis... which is the only reason i still go, he's a good man and a good mech.

Big Bill now owns the place, although he's a new face there himself. And he and Wayne (Wayne is also wrenching with Travis) run the place. Wayne is the former owner of "Wayne's World of Hogs".

Any way..... sad to see my buddies leave there 1 by 1, and then the shop close (and move) completely... Seems my hopes that BD will someday rise again are failing slowly....:flag:

I agree, sad to see Ben, Tank, and Shannon leave. I have to follow Travis as he has been a great help in the past. They can get parts, if you need them

Count your blessing guys we have nothing up here in the Panhandle at all, never did and never will. I would love to have a relaible shop near by. I guess in one way that has taught me to take on the challenges of fixing things myself and doing all the PM work myself. Sorry you lost your peeps.

I went to Panama City to see my wife's aunt and while they went shopping I wanted to run by the HD shop. DUH, THERE"S NOT ONE IN Panama City! As big as that town is they have no dealership. You have to drive 1 hour and 30 minutes to Ft Walton Beach for parts!:loony::loony:

Ive heard they are supposed to be building one on Back beach for sometime now. Who knows if it will ever come to fruition..
