Don't let Gas see these pics, he'll be tearin his back apart to powder it!!!:D
Its funny you say that... I may do something different if/when I pull the motor for motor work.

Shredder... that looks GREAT! I love the red powder. Mine with black just wouldn't look the same. The bike is just SICK that way!!!!

What is the clutch cable chrome cover?

Why don't you move that check vlv on the rear head down low... so you don't see it?

Pick up a oil pressure pickup chrome cover and a spike for that top motor mount.

What controls are those?

Gas,
The clutch cable is a new product offered by Harley, about $45.
Explain the check valve, I'm lost on that one.
Oil pressure cover is on order.
Accutronix controls.

Yeah does that cover go right over the boot or do you remove the boot.

Check vlv... here's how my dealership ran it on mine till i flipped it... putting the vlv (right where the hose goes from black to SS) at the bottom so you don't see it. Just pull it off the rear head and flip the whole hose. Just be sure to flip the vlv itself so the white ring is facing the motor.

Well its a sweet job man. Where do you live? Anywhere close?

Thanks for the info, with the usual Gas Man pics. I live in the panhandle of West Virginia, a stones throw from Fibersnake. The clutch cable requires you to cut and remove the boot. It's a well designed cover, fits perfectly and I always thought that rubber boot was as ugly as the downtube stickers are.

I see you got the intake manifold chromed but not the flanges - any reason for that?

please excuse the ignorance again but are these purely cosmetic or do they perform better in some way?

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Lee, the tubes are purely a cosmetic upgrade. As for not chroming the intake flanges, probably should have done those as well. Probably could still do them.

I also have the clutch cable adjuster cover on my K-9. Easy to install and after you cut off the rubber the new alum. cover screws together nice making a water tight cover for the clutch adjuster.

Shredder did you pull the motor and tranny yourself and break it all down for the powder coating? What kind of time was involved in the motor tear down and reassembly? What did the motor powder coat runb you start to finish in $$$. I was just at my dealer last weekend talking about doing the exact same thing but in black.

You bike looks sweet echo all the other comments.

Gas are you saying as long as the check valve is in the line it workes regardless of where it is?? Also you and I & Shredded have the Dougherty Power pacc. How did you run the line witht he check valve in it into the back of the Power pacc? I saw in a previous post where you had said to run it to ground??? I was planning on going into one of the threaded plug holes on the back of the power pacc. Shredder and Gas how are you running yours??
