Hey all,

I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me. I have an '06 chopper and have to replace the frame. BDM website has '05 chopper frame available only. Anyone know of any differences? Would it be a straight swap for me?

Any help is appreciated.

Which one do you have now. I had the RT and broke it and BDM replaced it with there frame. Its a straight swap.

Biggest difference is the front motor mount that is like the Daytec frames.

I currently have an '06 BD Chopper with a cracked frame near the swingarm pivot. The '05 frame is available from the BDM website.

Do you think the motor mounts will cause an issue?

No not at all. If you have the RT frame your VR will be relocated underneath the motormount

Well, Raywood... I have no idea what you're referring to for RT or VR.

Seeing as how I'm located very close to Mission Valley, I may be calling on you for help from time to time. I hope you don't mind.

Ha ha, RT is Rolling Thunder frame. Maple leaf on top motor mount. VR is voltage regulator.
BDM used Daytec and Rolling Thunder frames till they started making there own in late 05 or so and copied the Daytec design.
