What keeps the axle from moving rearward in the slot. The adjusters prevent forward movement but there is nothing to prevent rearward movement. Is there a right and wrong way to install the oval fixtures (not sure what the are called) that ride in the slot in the swingarm?

Also, my manual says torque to 45 ft-lb in one section and 65 ft-lb in another.

once you adjust the tension and torque the axle nut, it can't move. If you need instructions from the service manual, shoot me a pm with your e-mail address.

Thanks. I have the manual, hence the to quoted torque values. You go with 45 or 65 ft - lb?

I want to say 65 that's what I went with. Month or so with a few hundred miles so far so good.
