Stumbling issue

Hello everbody hoping i could get some help. bike has been running fine but stoped at the gas station yesterday and when i went to leave i pushed the compression releases down the bike started and when i went to reve it it would stumble at first then clear out almost like if it was flooded. jumped on the road and was smooth till i would get on the gas it would stumble again clear up and go. any help would be grateful thanks.

I'm not an expert by any means,but an easy check is look into your gas tank and make sure the liner is still intact,if not it may be getting caught around the petcock cutting off flow,also see if there is an in line filter that could use a cleaning.Again these are easy checks,the guys who know more can get deeper if need be,good luck

Thanks Lars ill be checking the fuel lines tomorrow was kinda of thinking the same thing after all the reading about the tank liner issues.

Check your accelerator pump. Make sure it is spraying a fan of gas....not a stream or dribble.

If it ran fine, you bought gas, then it had a problem you have to wonder about the gas...

I never pump gas in it at the gas station that night so that I can Rule out. We just pulled in for a few minutes to get a drink then we left. I will be checking the accelerator pump tonight and the fuel lines to see if there's any issues there. Just got the carb back from bob at xxx amd had been perfect.Maybe something got stuck

Knuckles I check to see if the accelerator pump was spraying a fan but its not kinda of a stream but not that strong. And I can't remember when I got it back from bob how it was spraying. Checked my plugs and before this happened they were looking good now there black.

1. I would say if you had it rebuilt, might a jet go loose, run more gas up the threads?

2. I would say if your plugs look sooty, had the car rebuilt, it might be carb related right now? Since it was the last thing done that you remember.

3. I would look to see if the choke is walking closed? Are you sure that is wide open?

well i spoke to bob today and he thinks it might be a ignition issue. If thats the is the case is there any way to check the ignition module?
