can anyone tell me why for my 2004 bigdog pitbull i cannot find the avon 250/40/r18 in a venom anymore just a cobra?

I think the Venom has been discontinued. There were problems with that tire.

Yep. Problem was that they lasted too long and were too reliable!!:lol::lol:

harry is correct. the venom was the top quality tire available at the time and due to Avon's superior intelligence, they decided it was time to revamp the design of the tire. Thus, the creation of the Avon Cobra, with it's tread separations, it's poor wear patterns, and it less than adequate longevity. this is not to say that all cobras wear out too quickly because some have attained respectable mileage while others certainly have not. do a search on the forum and do your research, lots of reading material available. :2thumbs:
