Ok so I have been waiting 9 weeks for my new bars to come in......as pissy as I was getting, it was worth the wait. When I buy something I want it now. So they came in and I had to get these bad boys on. After temporaily setting bars on trees I got my measurements for all the cabling. Called up to the big dog store. Looks like the Ridgeback cables would be a close fit. Picked them up and got on it. took a few days as I am in the air condition business and its been hot. So we been busy as shit at work. but a few hours every night and she is put together. The worse part was wiring. I did my own splicing of the harness. I will hopefully try to find maybe stock harness at a later date. But I had 3 colors of wire and 6 wires per controls, I didnt take good notes the night before when I built the harness in my kitchen while eating and drinking. but start up went perfect. Took for a little test drive......oooppppps. Lost all clutch after a few miles. Well I had to pull and readjust the clutch pushrod. After 2nd adjustment all is perfect.

I am not a fan of ape hangars, but that looks pretty damn good, I like it.:2thumbs: Now you might want to start working on a new rear tire.

I too am not a fan of ape bars, but yours are looking good - I think may be one of the best set I've seen.

I'm with reaper on this one! I think the first thing I tuned in on was your rear tire, better get that thing changed out. I do love what you did to the scoot though, she looks mean... :2thumbs:

 Actually Aspen and I have different cleaning techniques, yes will definitely have to ride, I like riding thru Union out on hwy. 50 and beyond. You have a badass looking bike, I think the bars make it, different set of mirrors, and seat you will be styling.:2thumbs:

I often thought about doing that to my bike but wasn't sure what it would look like. Makes me think......

Very unique ... turn the mirrors under. It will look even better. Nice job. Chaning bars can be a pain.

Just finished my swap today to bars with greater pullback, I went for a totally different concept of maximum comfort. Your bars look great and as already mentioned, the bike fits you a lot better now. If you ride all day like I do, the high bars may give you a problem with arm fatigue.

Nice I think that it definatly fits you now its just about shoulder height. I agree with Moog, find a set of old style mirrors and turn them under.
