Pics of my new seat from Seatmaker

Here are some pics of my new seat made by Seatmaker. He did an amazing job, exactly what I envisioned. Allot of custom work went into this for the shape, and cut. I think it flows beautifully with my bike, and shows off more of the fender, and flames which were kind of hidden with the stock seat. Hope you all like it as much as me.

It actually feels pretty good, although I haven't taken it out for a long ride yet. I know it won't be as comfortable as the stock one, but I will sacrifice a little pain for this look.

Reap,
Man that bike is amazing. How in the hell do you keep it looking so clean. The fenders, the springer, the painted axel caps, and the saddlebag even looks great. If I get to STL, would love to see it in person. Congrats on the seat, well done Seatmaker.

I love it, looks great. I was just wondering. Most people think our bikes are uncomfortable and my bike is WAY more comfortable then my FXST was.

Thank you paleskin, As far as making it look so clean, the key is not to let it get very dirty in the first place, other than that just allot of meticulous cleaning, and attention to detail. If you make it up here, let me know and you can check it out.:2thumbs:

Thank you Bubblehead. Actually one thing that does make it more comfortable is the seat has lowered, and pushed me back enough that my right knee doesn't have to be to the right of the spike cleaner. I had to ride with my right foot at an angle on the brake pedal. Now I can get my knee under the spike cleaner, and have my foot flat on the pedal. That will make a huge difference on a long ride.

Looks amazing. Did you just send him the seat and what you wanted and he knock it out?
Thanks man, I sent him a new seat pan that I got from my dealer, then I went up to his place with some pictures of what I was looking for, and we went over it together so we understood what each of was envisioning. It is exactly what I wanted, couldn't be more happy with his outstanding workmanship, and quality.

Hey Reap .... I always loved your bike and your style ... the seat makes it all come together nicely .... Most folks want more padding and gel.... butt for me I like them trimmed down and contoured to the bike... real good design.

Nice work seatmaker

Thank you Five Five glad you like the styling. I also really prefer the cut down minimal look as well.
