Bikes getting a makeover

From your picture you left the fly wheel attached to the transmission. Guess I need to pull the rear tire and remove the belt drive. Getting close I am having a blast and learning a hell of alot as I tear this down. once the bike gets out to the painter I may start looking at breaking into the engine and replacing seals. one thing at a time

Next Round: bike is getting there! I am taking my time labeling and taking photos making sure I put the bolts back in the spots before moving on! Next will be to remove the front forks and then on to the motor.

Cool, what did you have done to the motor? I am considering tearing it apart as well and replacing the seals. I am also looking at getting it polished.

Nothing exciting. I had a leaky rear base gasket so I just had them replaced. New head gaskets and rockerbox gaskets too. Maybe this winter when I can get AirbrushEd to finish my paint I may go with a 585 cam? I want some more umph without going overboard.

Bike is at the shop getting some new paint. Frame is going to be sanblasted and powdercoated! I will post pics once I get it back!

Took the frame over today! it would not fit in the back of my jeep so I had to use the VW passat with a window down to put the neck of the frame out. I looked like the pure white trash I am LOL...
