So I ordered my Wire-Plus kit over 5 weeks ago. I've sent two emails with no response and tried calling several times. Always get the busy tone!! Anybody know what's going on? I'm giving it till the end of this month then I'm re-wiring the whole damn bike and changing out the controls. I haven't been running since end of last season.
Sorry,
Needed to vent.
Thanks

What about aPDM? Of course long wait for those also.

Worst case if you rewire you can keep your controls and use relays for switching function.

Just run the signal ground through the hand control switches.

Once Don Bromlow left Wires Plus it became a big cluster ****. I ordered 3 units, waited forever for them (Jake was a huge help to me on that) and once I got them, all 3 had bad handlebar module thingies (very technical term) and I had to send them back for them to fix--waiting another few weeks. Luckily the customers were understanding, but very frustrating on both ends. One of the girls at Wire-Plus told me that Don was going to come in on a part-time basis to train them and get things back on track, but it doesn't sound like it is happening...it's a shame because it was a very good product!

I just got an email from them. They tell me it's going to be another 2-3 weeks before ship. I am PISSED!! I am giving it the weekend to think things over. But Im pretty sure it's going to be a complete re-wire now. This btw is the first contact I've had from them since paying my money. Hey! It's Miller time!

Wire Plus
Ordered & Paid on - Feb 25, 2012 14:08:40 PST Payment of $553.99 USD to WIRE PLUS, INC
Received email from Wire Plus on 4/11/12
Kendra here at Wire Plus.

I wanted to touch base with you to bring you up to date on the status of
your order. As of today, Wednesday April 11, we are still working on
filling your order. My production manager assures me that we will have it
ready to ship no later than the end of next week. I understand that you
were expecting your order much sooner than that, and I do sincerely
apologize that we have not met the previous deadline(s) we set. However,
please keep in mind that we hand build every single part that we ship, and
that process occasionally takes longer than anticipated.

We truly appreciate your continued patience. I will personally email you
the moment your order ships so you will know it is on its way. If there is
anything I can do to help the situation (short of waving my magic wand and
making the parts appear this afternoon) please let me know. As always, we
are here for you. Speaking of which, I know I am often difficult to catch
when you call us. I am the only one here answering the phones and it is
more often than not ringing off the hook. Email is the most direct and
effective means of communication at this point, so feel free to drop me a
note at this email address anytime.

Again, thank you for being patient. I will be in touch soon!

So it’s been 54 days today waiting for the product. I tell you guys I only ordered it to have on the shelf so if someone on the forum is down and needs it I will part with it for the same money it cost me. There is nothing wrong with my dog so I can wait on another one. Remember I still don’t have it yet -

Not impressed one fucking bit by that communicae. Not a goddamned thing on this planet other than the secret of life....worth that waiting period. I mean it is a fucking bunch of wiring, zip ties and a manual. I don't mean to sound insensitive. As I am sure it is difficult to hand-make each and every unit the same way over and over again. BUT...let's be honest....600 bucks for 8 dollars worth of wiring is a pretty good profit margin.

My email was very similar. Magic wand and all...! Had I known it was 2 months for possible delivery I would have my complete re-wire done by now. I know I know. No need for the poo-pooers to chime in about quality products made in the USA blah blah. This is about communication and customer service PERIOD!!

I'm having a local shop work on it for me and Wire-plus keeps telling them another 2 weeks since 3/8/12....bad part is I feel like I'm "pot committed" and don't want to start the waiting process over again with PDM
