here is the indicator light that comes up when I hit the Starter button....
The light that's ON is for air ride. Assuming you don't have air ride and haven't hit the RUN button it comes ON after hitting START because the air ride circuit is OPEN.

Here are some photos of battery terminal connections. Thought I would throw these out for expert eyes. Pretty basic stuff (supposedly) but the bike still isn't turning over.:bang:
I'd be looking closely at the small wire in this pic (assuming it's the negative post). It doesn't look right to me...

I thought about the black wire AND made the assumption that the "air-ride" light was the STARTER light due to the fact I don't have an Air Ride system.

Bike was just picked up and hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. Unless it is a complete EHC meltdown. I can't believe it would be an EHC issue since I have never read anything about the EHC's having any problems.

Is that a relay or a fuse? One side you have a black wire and the other side is a red wire.
That's the circuit breaker. The wire coming from the VR is black. From the C/B to the battery is red.

You just can't make it any more confusing!!! :bang:

Should've taken it off and put a new end on it. The one that's there looks screwed!

The "STARTER" light is green! (No service manual?) See what happens when you "ASS U ME"? :bang:

Let us know!

Dennis

PS Based on the troubleshooting I see from many "mechanics" they'll probably tell you the EHC is toast but don't let them talk you in to replacing it until that connection is at least confirmed good! :D

Sorry for the delay in updates on this cluster fuck situation. I had Stroker's come by and pick up the bike on Thursday morning. When it got to the shop they hooked it up to whatever power source they had and the bike turned over immediately! The Ballistic Lithium Ion Battery is not what should be in this bike.

As many of you said in previous posts the Lithium Ion in NOT the way to go. I am embarrassed that I didn't pay more attention. The battery was actually BAD!!!

I fell prey to the sales pitch that this the LI battery is the way to go. Anyways...I had a DECA battery put in and went to pick up the bike at 2pm on Thursday. Made it to Fredericksburg (300 miles) with no problems by 930pm. The bike STILL doesn't start immediately but she does start and the weekend ended up being one of the most beautiful and peaceful rides I have ever had.

Point of this story is NO GO WITH Lithium ION and the secret to success is good old fashioned Battery technology. She still needs some work but boy and am I glad it was the battery's fault and not mine.

thanks again for all of your feedback.
