The plot thickens...
I just returned from my bank, they credited my account when I gave them back the bank check...I figured I would have to pay some fee...you know banks being what they are but 5 minutes and I was done.

Upon returning home what do I see, this bonehead now wants to sell the bike. hmm put the tree, here, no put the tree over there...hmm wait better put it back....

I sure and sh1t aint going back to the bank and getting another bank check to make up for his indecisions
Looks like he takes a personal check or pounds sand...but wait there is more. My girl took yesterday off so she could drive me down to his house and get the bike. Today like the rest of the real world she is back at work and needs to make up for taking a day off. So now I dont have a ride down...the guy has a enclosed trailer sitting behind his house. I told him that he needs to deliver the bike to me (not really a big drive about 25 miles each way) but I will be damned if I am going to pay for a freaking taxi or toss out my thumb looking for a ride on the highway.

What a freaking pain in the ass buying this bke is turning out to be...
Money up front for a bike to be delivered 25 miles? He could not take a deposit and bring the scoot and get the rest then?

Believe me this was nothing short of a pain in the ass to spend money and purchase a bike, not to mention a board member who is well respected kinda feels like I may have jerked him around, which was not the case.

The one advantage of doing a Fed funds wires is exactly the first three letters.. FED, if this bonehead were to attempt to screw, it becomes a Federal offense. He despite being an ahole through out the entire process does not appear (here is where I sink my ship) to be a thief.

This bike is a huge step compared to everything else I have ever ridden in the past 600k miles of my two wheel lifetime adventure. I would compare it to having a 468 big block 67 Chevelle running open headers, a 600 lift solid roller and using for a nice evening ride to the local office ie bar...you just dont know what may happen.....but I am going to find out.

You are gonna love this scoot and they are at their best when allowed to run hard for 500+ miles at a time.
Remember to keep the hound on a battery tender:cheers:

What you went through was BS and now a forum member is bummed out as well. The second looks as though you apoligized and I would hope he accepts (as all this was done in a very very short window of time). I am sure you are like me, you lfell in love with the bike and wanted it. Sure would have been nice to see you make hime sweat it out. By sweat it our...Wait a few days and then go 1000.00 less. But he did throw in the bubble thingy I guess!

I wish I had more money.
What prolly happened is he told his ol'lady that he decided to keep it. She chewed up his ass one side and down the other. So he found in his best interest to ring you back saying "he" changed his mind.

Congrats on the purchase of the scoot. I read through the whole thread and seen the ups and downs, sale/no sale issues. I would be very careful with sending money first, just saying. Good luck and hope everything goes smoothly for you...:D :2thumbs:

I wired the $$ yesterday, this am the seller emails me and says he cant deliever it, he cant find his tie down straps...once an asshole always an asshole...he is picking me up and i will ride it home, just as well because there is this trust issue that keeps coming to the surface. The other point is I repeated back a list of parts that he was going to bring with him in his truck to drop off that go with the bike...and well it seems despite the fact that he mentioned the rear passenger seat (suction cup one) he does not feel it should be included because due to my excitment forgot to mention it when we were agreeing to the details. So this asshole whats to feel like he wins by screwing others over right to the bitter end. I may have to drive over his flower bed when leaving..ooops sorry guy...you know...new bike..didnt have the feel.

The thought of having to sit in the same car with this scumbag while going to his house to get the dog makes me want to vomit.

I hope all works out well for you. Karma has a way of taking care of things in the end.... I am fortunate to be surrounded with people who treat others as they want to be treated and would give you there shirt off there back.
Everyone one of them have a heart as big as the outdoors...
I hope the bike brings you much pleasure and everything else will become the past.
Groovy..aka Nomad2day or Neil in the real world

The world is full of morons and life is way too short to stress over them. After today, you'll never have to see this guy again and you bought a sweet ride at a killer price. Life is good.

Dude I am getting a real bad feeling as I read through all this BS, This guy is an ass wipe! He's not going to give you the seat???? I didn't like the sound of him in the back ground of your video. Please tell us you rode her home and she's running fine. He said he hadn't ridden in a year... somethings amiss here!

Well its a done deal...I now have a bad ass mastiff sitting with my other bikes. I road about 100 miles tonight and my tail bone says...time to make me a seat.

My question is for the 06 Mastiff single seat, is there any other years of big dog models that will fit with the same shape/fit for my bike? I want to add some gel for the left/right side and cut a grove so my tail bone isnt being pressed on the seat causing the ass pain.

btw..on my ride home 5 thumbs up from people in cages.

Phewww! What a sigh of relief... I was so worried you were getting screwed! Glad you got her home and she's running good. Can't help with the seat question though.

Man glad it worked out for you. I love my Mastiff everytime I take it out someone wants to look at it and ask a hundred questions about it.
