This is my 100th post.

I can't wait to see the finished product. It's going to be sweet. I can just tell from all the photos you have posted already. Keep us updated with photos.

Ummm - just to be clear here, 0.100 is a tenth of an inch - I presume you meant 0.001?
Yeah... it was off by about half the thickness of the rotor itself.... which is .193" So we are taking off .100 The little extra we take off can be made up with a shim on the caliper.

Vegas...you're right... but it sucks to plan it all perfect and then the brakes are put on the project for small stuff... oh well... at least I got time... but it will be slow progress forward as I wait for parts...

TRIPPLE TREES ?

Hey "GASMAN" Project looks awsome:2thumbs:

You never cease to amaze me, not only with your talent, but your vision and forethought is just incredible.

I have a quick question, The Tripple trees have a set of Spiked Bolts holding the handlebars on. Are they custom or can they replace the factory Bolts ?

They are very cool.:2thumbs:

Keep us updated. Thanks for all the Photo's.

Man guys... I have been waiting on parts.

I did get my front pulley shim in today. Got that installed but need to get shorter bolts for the locking plate. Will get those tomry.

TX is right though... been kinda busy.

C4L, those are meanstreet tribel handlebar spike covers. Had to also replace the stock bdm hex head bolts with socket caps then put those on with some silicone and a set screw. Also thanks for the compliments. I have been dreaming up this stuff for a long time... Some, including my very own brother (natron), have doubted my vision of stuff but once they saw the things coming together they said I was right.

So hopefully Wed I will get those bolts and button up the primary. Finally some progress!!!

Never settle, even though you may have your own moments of doubt...

That kind of goes back to the "pastors ass story" about chasing public opinion...

F'em all, whether anyone else likes it or not, your vision is only yours... now all ya' need is a windshield.

BTW, after meeting Natron a few times, I am guessing that he was prolly only giving supportive criticism and prolly waited 'til after he liked what you did to mention "his surprise".

I definitely know that I am jealous as Hell, and can't wait to see it. :2thumbs:
Only partially because that means it will be riding season again...
