Question, would it be wrong to ask if anyone has brought something from another member here before I buy something from him?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with checking out a potential buyer/seller!!! You can check here...Question, would it be wrong to ask if anyone has brought something from another member here before I buy something from him?
Pull the trigger then and do it ....It's the cost of the item which makes me want to get a reference before sending my money? If it was just 10 or 20 dollars I wouldn't worry about it. But this is a couple of hundreds.
I PM him to see if it's alright with him. Waiting to hear from him now.Pull the trigger then and do it ....

GOOD POINT:up:While there's nothing wrong with asking a potential buyer/seller via PM if they're cool with asking about them in "public" before doing so, why would you? The only person that would have a problem with asking in the general forum would be someone that has done or is planning to do something shady... and you wouldn't want to buy from them anyway!
I guess I just don't get why someone with a good reputation in their dealings with other forum members would have any problem with others knowing about it...
