Broken !!

I was doing a little maintenance on the skoot .... fixing my leaks on my air ride suspension... I went to remove the air cylinder (shock) when I noticed the front shock mount bolt was sheared off ...WTF

I hate extracting broken bolts ....and this one was hard to access ....the broken part of the bolt was in there good and I snapped an extractor trying to break it loose....I ended up drilling it to size and re-tapping....this little project had me on my lasts nerve ... but I was finally able to complete it 6-hours later .... skoot is back together ready for more miles..

I hate extracting bolts .... Hate it !! :angry:

Now that's funny:roll: I tried doing that same action shot here in Michigan but my snowmobile suit kept getting caught in the open primary belt so i just gave up

yea that would have to be the worst bolt on the whole bike to get to...good job!!!

Thats what happened to me at 2 in the morning rolling through some shit hole in Texas with Ray. Stock shock had gone bad and the air ride was taking all the pressure. Sheared the moutning bolt right off and left me riding a ridgid for 3 hours until we got to our destination
