AvdHunter- What are shocks .
1)Shocks are part of a motorcycle suspenshion that allows a swing arm to move up and down.
2) shock is wha you get when you take your battery out-take off the negitive first and while taking off the positive terminal your 10mm hits the frame.
3) shock is also the pain caused by your spine vertibrates crushing sensitive nerve endings when your hard tail hits a bump.
4) shocked is the expression on your face when the BDM dealer tells you a bike with shocks is about $3000 more $.
5) shocked is also what you are when you try to sell your hardtail and no one wants to buy it cause it has no suspenshion.

So what was the BS about heavy duty rebuild? Ever get to the bottom of that? I hate run arounds and bs from people.
Seems it takes them a while but the price ended up alright I suppose.
no. talked to someone at time of payment ... didnt have a clue who or why that was told to me.all they could offer was stock rebuild on these... ... but any ways they arrived in 5 days of clearing my payment and sent all old seals back . im satisfied . ill put bike together this week and hope next weekend i can ride and let you guys know how they work!

Anyone have a torque spec for shocks bolts?
I got the bike back together and let me tell you it is SOOO much better. WELL worth the money.Besides the shocks, i replaced fork tubes and all the guts ,along w 2 new tires. Been rainy but i got out for a few miles this weekend. a good clean up and ill be good to go.!!!
