Dakota for Older Dog?

Hey has anyone done a Dakota Speedo on an older Dog or even better yet an older Dog with a wire plus set up. I see on their site something about 04 and up.

My 03 Chopper speedo is acting up again and I would like to put a nice simple end to it. Will it fit in the bracket and plug in I guess are my main questions.

Been nice without that EHC, hopefully I can bury the speedo in my yard next to the EHC burial site :lol:

As I understand .... if you have the speedo that sits in between the handlebars with the tach ring around the outside of the speedo it would work. I had the Dakota and the wire plus and it worked fine. It just doesn't do that sweep like the original speedo would do since it is digital.

Lagus, These are the dimensions that should work on all tank mounted speedometers. This is the link to the Dakota website showing the speedo head. Let me know if this matches up with what you have.
If it does I will work out a discounted price.
