Add me to the list. I searched and have the replacement how to. But as far as where to go to get a replacement quickly, I need some advice. Of the posts that came up in my searches, they mentioned two site vendors, but neither are in the site vendors list any more. Best shopping advice???

2nd question: is Barrett still replacing these broken cables? This is an 07 Chopper with less than 9k miles.

... Tricky ride home I gotta Tell'ya.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

They just fixed mine free of charge. I carry a spare in my pack with me all the time

Ok, so I'll send the old one to Barrett for replacement. Cool.

Now, to get my ride back in action ASAP, I'd like to find a cable locally at a decent price (aka not from a Harley dealer). Is there a Barrett part number? Or more precise question, what do I ask for if I'm talking to a reputable local parts/repair shop? This is an 07 Chopper.

Thanks for all the help! The job got done and then some. I ordered one from Barnett after making a load of local calls. Tampa BDM said they didn't have one. Two other shops couldn't help. Then a bud calls telling me he called his guy and they had several on the shelf! Then Tank called back and said he had one after all.

So I was back on the road by 7pm, and have a fresh spare coming from Barnett. Cool.
