Ginz choppers - sissy bars

Anyone every tried a sissy bar from Ginz Choppers? They look alright and are less expensive that BD's bars. They have a universal mount that'll fit all year Dogs. $ 370 buys the mount and the sissy. Seat pad is another $ 150.00 Looking for feedback on these bars from Ginz if you have any.
Thanks

Did that include the mounting hardware? I was quoted $ 135 for the sissy, $ 110 for the pad, and $ 437 for the side plate and mounting hardware. The BD Dealer said the factory was out of stock on the ones for my bike, a 2002.

On ealier model BD you have to buy struts as well. The newer models are ready for bolt on:hi:

I have sold them and installed them on Big Dogs and other custom softails with strutless fenders. Nothing but good to say about them. Extremely easy install on late Big Dogs with correct struts. Designs are pretty cool. Highly recommended. A+++

Looks like they use a "unniversal mount." I would go to Eric at Choppin' Steel and get one that mounts the same way the BD sissy bars mount. Eric is in the process of moving. I am waiting for him to set up his new shop to get mine.

Hello BIGDOG´s, greetings from a german K9 rider. I want a Mounting of the Sissybar Pad. look: http://www.rodneyscyclehouse.com/images/bdm_motorcycle/bdmpart_062.jpg or http://www.rodneyscyclehouse.com/images/bdm_motorcycle/bdmpart_064.jpg. I send roedney a lot of mails for the price... but i dont get a answer. where can you buy that?

Not sure if Big Dog Parts has it in stock but it's on their site:

Sissy Bars | BDM Performance Products

You might want to check with our site sponsor to see if they have any in stock:

Home of the Cleanest Used Harley's In The Twin Cities--Custom built to bone stock "We Have That!!" Call us today, cheap delivery within the lower 48!!

It seems in most cases a phone call gets faster services than an email but I realize that's difficult for you being in Germany.

I have the Ginz mounts on my 05 mastiff with a bdm sissy bar and it works great. Was alot cheaper than buying struts. I have a post on it on here.

You can buy Ginz sissy bar and mounts trough Sandy big dog dealer in Utah. They sell it to you for the same price of Ginz web site, I heard sometime is hard to get hold to Ginz. I talked to Kelly from Sandy Utah and he was very nice and helpful, he can get sissy bar trough Ginz even for newer Wolfs. BDMPP are gonna have sissy bars, struts and luggage rack made for all 2005 models and up but the wolfs, and as Greg said Ginz seems to be cheaper.

I would be curious to see what this Ginz setup actually looks like installed on a 300 mm Big Dog fender.

Anyone have pics? Please post.

I placed an order with Ginz CHoppers on there website on 1/1/2012, I've called a few times (2) to confirm my order and try to get a delivery date etc. without a reply. The website say's 6 week turn-around time, I'm still waiting. They should at least have someone answering calls/questions.
Also, the items I ordered were for my HD roadglide, I hope everything comes through....

I went through this, too a couple of years ago...almost canceled the order via my CC but they finally responded.

Bar came out good and was some of the smoothest powder coat I have seen.

Just an update to this thread, Today I received my entire order I had placed with Ginz Choppers. Delivered via Fedex and I couldn't be happier with their products! Everything looks great and later I'll snap some pics and post up.
