Hello, My son just bought a 2008 Big Dog Mutt at an auction. We are trying to figure out the mileage. it reads 29000 is this 29,000 miles or 2,900 then the 10Th miles?
Any help would be great.
Thank you

I have a mutt but I think all of the bikes are the same. Only the trip logs have tenths. The main total miles readout reads in whole miles. That would mean it has 29,000 miles.

Mileage sounds high. You have to turn the key on and let the system cycle. Tach should go up and come back down before you start the bike. when the bike is running what is the mileage?

Well if the scoot was ridden and he's from the southern states were the weather is nice year round, it's very possible to have 29K clocked on the scoot. I've been clocking nearly 10K per year on mine. But since I've bought the HD I've been trading off riding times between the both so the dog isn't getting as many miles as I started out doing...

I wish I had more money.
I know it looks funny but the first post was his question. The second post is him thanking someone. The third was me asking who answered his question? I still don't see a reply before mine? Unless he was being the wise ass?

:loony:

Im guessing 2900 but I wouldnt buy without knowing!

If it is the odometer reading than it would be 29k, however if by chance it may be showing trip odometer if is probably 2900.0. Push the little black rubber button at the bottom center when it is running and cycle through the trip odometer and the mileage odometer, just to make sure the 29 whatever is the mileage. If it is an read 29000 then it is 29K. If so got to salute whomever road it for they did ride it and not just down to the corner bar.
