Help with Pitbull

Would like to get V&H BR, would like to know where is best place to look and any part #s would really help. I dont wnat to get the wrong ones.......
Also, would I need some type of mounting bracket? the ones on there now are short and do not bolt to the frame. Would I have any issues with the controls? 2005 Pitbull. 300 tire
Any help, thanks....and YES, I would sell these..there new, not even a mark.

I like the look of your pipes do they have heat shields ? I just took off my VH/BR 2:1 for 300mm rear ....

The V&H Big Radius will give you better back pressure and a few more lbs. of *torque* as opposed to the short dump of the pipes you are now running-but those are really cool as well (what you have now) like you said-just preference is all it boils down to.
Look at the pipes I make in my profile Bike pics....-they aren't as "showy" and sexy as the ones you've got on yer sled now-but they make Horsepower/Torque in bunches and are unique.Gimme your input/opinion.
I'll see if i'm technically able to navigate this menu and post a few pics.

There shouldnt be any fitment issues with the controls ...I'm running the stock BDM foot controls.... although it's very close, there is about 3/8" clearance from the front pipe and to where the right foot control mounts to the frame .... I think the mounting bracket for the frame is different for a rigid frame .... were you looking at the VH 2:2 or 2:1

At the risk of sound even more uneducated, what is the line going into the exhaust where they meet? Is that one of the breather lines?

I routed the breathers from the Rocker Boxes & check valve into a braided stainless steel line and into/ under the diamondplate heat shield.
Dude..You are NOT Un-Educated....thats a fine observation on your behalf and asking questions is how you learn and gain better understanding of many topics that involve your bike.
The added *heat* and suction/draw from under the heatshield let the rocker boxes breathe even better-and lets the check valve *relax* as the heat creates a natural draw.
Believe me...theres enough air flowing underneath that shield to vent the entire motor.

I Like Those pipes Bro.....send Me a Message or call my shop.I am interested.
and just a second thought....They *SHOULD* have a bracket tab welded on the rear inside/underneath(connecting both pipes together) that is able to Mount & stabilize them to the Transmission Trap Door Bolt locations...
No...? Just asking-and gimme a shout whenever you can dude.

So I understand this right. It is vented into the exhaust. I need to do this badly. A good friend of mine offered to detail the bike for me over the winter if I could cure my spray. I like that idea. Don't mind if I give it a shot do you?
