Xmas 2011 ride

Last year we had two and a half feet of snow and temps below zero for Xmas. This year, no snow, dry roads, and temps in the 40's. That's like summer here, so it's riding weather!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a great riding year!

Glad to hear so many of you still riding this time of year and that the weather's cooperating in those areas normally covered with the white stuff during this time of year…:2thumbs:

As you can see, it's been pretty nice here (for a change). The weather and being able to ride was one of the best presents ever (along with the Mathews Z7 extreme bow) this year! So HO HO HO, it's off on the Big Dog I go!!!

I to went out for a ride on Christmas Day. In the 40's and the wind chill wasn't that bad. It felt great!! Maybe a mild winter here in Ohio will lead to more riding.

Hey Neil,

Bike looks good.

I have the 07 Bull Dog too. How many miles do you have on yours?
I've been pretty much trouble free knock on wood since I bought it?

I'm in St. Louis Missouri and my daughter and I are going to attemt to ride today to the St. Charles Harley Shop about ten miles away. It's 33F right now and supposed to be 45F in awhile.

Hey RoadDawg,

Thanks for getting me out today. I probably wouldn't have gone out if I didn't read your post. It was a high of 42F but wasn't too bad with the extra layers of clothes.

I let my 19 year old daughter ride my HD Heritage and I took the BD. (She has her own street rice burner and knows how to ride but just new to the bigger HD) priceless ride and a lot of fun.

Fun I was tempted to ride also, no snow and 40 degrees, but dog is still on the rack for winter service front wheel is off. I just re-assembled primary and clutch , and was dieing to test it. Instead fired it up while on the rack and ran it thru the gears.
