Yes, please explian. Is it standard? Why does it have a crazy reciptacle (plug in) on top of it? Why does it look like a light show in my battery box when you start the bike? Not only the Thunderheart, but different color lights on the board below it near the bottom of the battery tray?

Because you just bought a motorcycle with an electrical system rivaling the complexity of the space shuttle.

Only 2 space shuttles ever blew up, now if only Big Dog could claim a similar failure rate.

When that TH module burns you can cut all the wires off it and polish it up. It makes a really pretty kickstand puck with it's cool little sword and all.

yep. close, as mine is an 04. i think it might be a bit different. again just wondering as I started bike tonight with seat off and it lit up like a christmas tree. always had Harley's and never seen anything like this. thats all. I can do just about anything to a bike but am completely lost with electronics!!!

Yeah 04 is differant but same idea, I thought the same thing first time I saw it running. Then I thought that cant be good!!!
