BATTERY ADVISE!

Im looking to buy a new battery for my bike.
Need to know what other option i have besides BRAILLE.

Why not BRAILLE?

I have been trying to get a battery from them (2 times already) because they never have it in stock!!
After calling them to confirm if they have it in stock, i placed the order.
Minutes later i received an email with the estimated shipping date.
They previously confirmed that the batttery was going to be shipped within 1-2 days UPS ground.

One day later, i received another email with a REVISED SHIPPING DATE,
30 days after my purchase!!

So, I am sick and tired of trying to get anything from them (the distributor, the manufacturing company!) they really suck !! Never have anything in stock and this is not an accessory! its something i need to have my bike in working condition.

Can somebody please advise where can i get a similar battery with the same specs or even better than BRAILLE?

Any imput will be highly appreciated.

The last time I bought a battery, had to get one quick after changing after fixing a short on the wiring harnes an anyway just went down to Walmart and bought one of their house brands to get me up and running. It was like $70 and the battery has held up so far for close to a year and half.

Maybe not the best in the world, but hell if it holds up for 2 years or more, no complaints for it only cost $70 and I could buy a couple of these or more for the price of a Braille and some of the others.

I do make sure that I keep it on the Bat Tender though, as I do with all my batteries.

Hi having same problem with Braille battery.When orderplaced they said 2 day to be delivered,then it changed to 14 days...Now tonight it is nov 20 something expected delivery date..Screw them and their distributors!!Order will be canceledin the morning!!!

A few months ago I ordered a Braille battery from Summit Racing at 3 o'clock in the after noon with standard 3 day shipping. It showed up the next day at noon.

wow ...sorry your having trouble with them...i ordered one about a month ago and had it in 5 days....the harley batterys are an average battery......and always in stock...if your lookin for a better battery i think someone posted above about a lithium battery for the dogs...

I just contacted autoanything they told me that battery takes one day to get here after shipped, (sounds really good) but they need 20 days to ship it:confused:

I got mine from autoanything, it was quick, reliable, and discounted for BDB members.

Sounds like he doesn't have any stock :down:. Since he has the same lead time as you were given from Braille directly. Doesn't help out the guy in need of a battery quick:down:. At least you found someone who had it in stock:2thumbs:

I'm useing the HD battery also/, I have a 2.4 spyke starter and it cranks it just fine.

I just bought a Harley battery, my original Big Dog battery just now gave up the ghost and it lasted over 3 years. I'm happy...:2thumbs:
