All spiked up....& ready to go!

Well thanks to Low Down Chop Shop (thanks Jake), Wicked Bastard (thanks Nelson) and XOPRODX the sled has acquired a very 'sharp' personality! Also installed the new struts to accommodate the new custom sissy bar (on the drawing table) from Choppinsteel.

Excuse the dirty dog...I was fortunate to put 50 miles on it today

Pegs are fine...the grips will take a little gett'n used too. It'll take a while to blister in the hands :bang:

THank you... No issues w/the forward controls...my right grip is a little loose. I may need to install a rubber slip around the bar. Always something to do.

Low Down...Jake is great to work with-I installed every spike Low Down offers The sled also has Low Down's brake clamp and magetic coil mount spike too. Jake makes some awesome mods...:2thumbs:

And for goodness sake... ditch the downtube stickers!!

Gas cap came from my dealer. The cap has a raised skull. I have an idea for a new cap though. Looking into a pop-up cap painted the same color as the bike with the flames running through it...essentially hiding the cap . IMHO the cap takes away from the tank graphics.

The downtube stickers definately need to go...maybe next weekend...if I touch the sled again this weekend my wife might accidentally sell it while I'm out of town this week. :argue:

Looks like the skull is a pewter attachment to the gas cap. Something similar to my S&S air cleaner insert... Is that the stock gas cap under it?

Might need to add to your sig... "Spiked Up!"
