FOR ALL THE CLEAN FREAKS

I got some Spa towels at Auto Zone and yesterday started on my rear wheel with just a little mother's,little silver polish for a few minutes. Then I got this idea!!!!!!!!! I took my mother's sponge polishing balls/cone too, and folded a spa towel on them and wire tied them up tight.. Hooked it up in my 18v Hitachi corless drill and polished the crap out of the wheels, triple tree, and other various chrome items. Those spa towels do make the billet and the chrome look new again, faster too using the drill.

Thanks for the advice on the spa towels,

Ray :2thumbs:

The prior owner used glare on the bike since it was new, he said the bike has more wax on it than a dance floor, and yes it is very noticeable on the bikes finish. It's worty the money to me, i like to take care of my toys.
Cool, thanks I will give it a try.

This is what I use on my Dog, with these products and a little elbow grease you can make your bike look like new.

Mothers Billet Polish
Micro-fiber super soft Spa towels (they don't scratch your billet)
S100 cleaner
Mothers liquid Carnuba wax

For general clean up after a ride, I use a micro-fiber with S100 and Mothers liquid wax together. I use that on everything, paint billet and chrome. After a couple of applications, the bugs and dirt come off easy....
Great job, and good post!

Where can one get the "Micro-fiber super soft Spa towels (they don't scratch your billet)"?

Sorry to say, my scoot can never become that clean! With the rains we get here in the Northwest, that's not going to happen! I try and ride year round when possible...:D

Haven't cleaned my bike in a month! I decided to relax today and wipe off the dirty spots with Spray and Shine. Finished up with some Stripper Juice and she's good to go!

I've been useing it only a month, I purchaced the GLARE Winners Circle Pro Kit. This kit includes one of each: GLARE Professional Polish, GLARE Micro-Finish, GLARE Spider GLARE, Knock-Out Compound. prior I was useing mothers.
I tried Glare last year but was not impressed.
I gave it to my neighbor for his Honda Goldwing and went back to a combo of 3M & Meguiar's on my Dog...and that's where I'm stayin'.
But..to each, his own..

Yep, just submitted for POTM.

Thank goodness I just ordered some more stripper juice. I will say that my bottles lasted much longer than I expected (I can't remember when I last ordered). I have been thinking about really cleaning my bike and taking it to a scenic spot in New Orleans for a POTM submittal. Just so much going on.

I am also afraid that if I really hit it with the juice, I won't be able to find my bike because it will be so clean!:roll::roll::roll:

A can should cover your whole bike (paint, chrome, leather, everything) for approximately 12 washings. It's all I use. I just cleaned my car seats with mine last night because I had to chauffeur family around town and my tan leather seats are only use to chauffeuring my pup!

Thanks again for your order! :2thumbs:

12 complete bike washes - Wow:whoop::whoop:

No wonder my first two bottles lasted so long.:D

I'll have to try it on my leather truck seats now. So far, I have only used it on our 5 bikes.:2thumbs:

PS Great minds do think alike!

I like using the Meguiar's "Hot Rims" on all the billet. On the paint also Meguiar's "Gold Class" (paste) followed by S 100 Keeps the Dog, Horse & Hog, looking GREAT

:eek:Damn, Biker Babe. That was fast shipping. I can't tell who delivered first you or Mad Dog (I ordered from both of you the same day). I might have to perform a test? Anyway, I have my Juice and I am all set to keep my bikes clean.:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

So I tried a new method today. Very similar to Aspen's however I use Hot Flash on the wheels/Billet and then used Mother's Caranuba Paste wax on the whole freakin bike everything but the tires, even on the billet after the Hot Flash and the bike is blinding shinny.... I feel the Mothers will help protect the billet and the shine will last longer. More than likely it'll be the last shine before I put it in the bubble....
