FSD Exhaust System

Well I've ignored the post and have ordered a FSD Exhaust System anyway. After having my Stainless Creation system break again for the second time at a weld joint I felt I needed to get something else. I did the research and checked this forum for people of have brought a FSD Exhaust. NOT GOOD! But I talked to Frankie several times thru e-mail and by phone and he appears to have gotten things worked out so I bite the bullet. But I have to say I order something that he had in stock, not something he had to build. I don't want to lost the rest of the season waiting for a pipe. He commited to getting it to me by this Friday and get me a tracking number by the end of today. Just to ensure everything was above board I wrote up everything in an e-mail that we exchanged so that there no misunderstanding. He also gave a forum membership discount on the pipe.

I'll keep everyone posted on how the deal works out. With all the other shops closing we need another good source for parts for our DOGS.:)

keep us in the know...I've been holding off because of some of the things i've read. I also know people only bitch when they are unhappy, and rarely give a compliment when things go right. Which model pipes did you get?

I couldn't be happier with mine. He had my pipes to me in Two weeks as promissed. No problems since I put them on in May. They're loud SOB's though.

Glad he gave you a discount. When I ordered mine he gave me one also. You'll love them. It's just a great looking set of pipes.

Link to the negative please I am about to purchase some also
You'll see some negative posts over at clubchopper.com. Keep in mind how old the posts are and call Frankie himself and let him explain the past drama of his business partners and what was going on at the time and I think he'll clear up any doubts you may have in ordering his pipes. Problems seem to have been resolved.

Update, I just got off the phone with him and was e-mailed the tracking number. Pipes are on the way, I got the slasher pipes in black. When I get them and mount them I'll post some pictures.

Paul those look kick ass.
Thanks. They were ceramic coating pipes in red. I guess they're not doing any colors anymore besides black I'd still like to have them in Red and drill some quarter size holes in the heat shields to show it off. Maybe later. I don't know if the colors besides the black or silver is holding up.

I've got a set of His Hot rod slashed Bipolar pipes. His site doesn't show them anymore. They have the silver ceramic coating on the top and the tips are chrome and bolt on. The rear pipe in the silver section didn't stay shiny very long it just gets too hot. I had Jet hot coat them with their Extreme silver and it did better but about 6" still went dull on the rear pipe. The rear pipe doesn't get the air flow.
The pipes are great I just need a mini heat shield from him

Do these ever get loose on you and do the touch the ground on right turns???

Bryant1609 - they've never gotten loose or touched the ground. I would say the footpeg would hit before the pipes. I've never scraped either one. Mine are installed on a Mastiff though so I don't know on a K9. Shouldn't though.

If you get hassled about loud exhaust where you live I wouldn't consider these. They are about as loud as it gets. No baffles in these pipes and they're short.

Ok here you go I think. Hope this works. Short video of my Dyno in Sturgis this year. Sound takes a big dump after about 40 sec so I didn't include the whole video. Too loud for the iPhone I guess.
