I closed ordering down on my end on Friday so I could get a final count and then submit the order to echoniner111. He did his thing and the ball keeps on rolling... the sample shirt was completed and Chad says it even looks better in person.
This shirt is a 2XL for Dakotabos, who's leading the BDB lunch this afternoon... all those bastards are having a good time in Sturgis.
Anyway, on to the shirt...
The back embroidery is approx 11" wide and this is a 2XL shirt. On smaller shirts it will obviously fill more of the back.
Anyway, pretty damn excited about the shirts, but I did have to tweak the design a bit for the embroidery process.

Not yet, I'll make an announcement when they are sent out.
The shirt pictured is the sample shirt before we went forward to ensure everything looked good. If nothing changes, the shirts should arrive tomorrow and then the embroidery starts on Monday and should take a week or so.
I've already ordered all the shipping boxes, pre-paid with tracking numbers, so once the shirts make it to me they just need to be sorted into the correct boxes and put in the mail. I will have tracking numbers that I'll email to everyone.
Figure on another 2 weeks, give or take a few days. Not as fast as Chad and I wanted, but we don't want to rush the embroiderer and risk the quality.
We think we may run another group buy in a few months, and since everything is established now, we will not have minimums to worry about next time... and with the ability for smaller orders, the turn around should be much quicker.
I'll work with Chad to see if we will have the option to offer more colors too.
But for right now we are staying focused on completing this group buy.

Just so everyone knows, I'm just setting up the tracking numbers and shipping info. The shirts are still in production and should be shipped to me late this week or early next week... When they are in the mail to you, I'll be sure to update the tracking info to shipped and you should see an email to let you know.
