Compression release

Next job is to install Compression release on my bike.

The motor so far has always started but I hate the struggle and slap it takes to get going.

I've read there's Auto and manual. I'd like auto but wiring isn't my strong point. How tricky is it to get installed. What might be the cost?

You can buy new cams with automatic compression releases. It would be a nice upgrade to your engine and you won't have to push the buttons before you start your bike. No need to push them when the engine is cold but its a pain in the azz if you're running around town.

These cams are only for twin cam engines !

What year is your bike? Some 03 and 04 are pre wired for the comp releases
