Good people,After all I have had to go through to this point with surgery, I get word from the insurance company on the bike repair. They call me and say they can fix it, 7grand thus far in repairs, 3k short of totalling. Twisted Choppers says they can do the job, they tell me the controls and most replaced parts will become Arlen Ness, and a new electrical system due to big dog being out of business. Damages include, 2 inch forward controls, all new pegs front and back,
all new hand controls, tag bracket, sissy bar system. I am concerned about the triple tree they say there is a minor scratch, pipes will be replaced, all tin has some sort of damage to it and will need repainted they say the powder coat is not an issue since they have to tear the bike down anyways. Chime in guys, this was a hit and run, by the time I come out the ditch the driver was long gone on a long country highway, my insurance company has to take care of everything (state farms)but from talking to the investigator they are not disputing my claim as of yet. There was a BD service provider in the area, should I go with them? Or will the IC accept I will only take OEM parts.
