Hell of an adventure! Glad you're OK and able to get around. I think you can add a Briggs & Stratton motor to the wheelchair...

Glad you're here to tell the story. Wishing you a speedy recovery. And just like before you purchased your Dog, do whatever makes you happy. No one knows better than you.

As many have already said, glad you are ok and will heal. As for the advice that's a personal choice. Just about everything we do has some risk involved. What's acceptable to me may not be acceptable to you. You have to weigh everything that's important to you and make your choices accordingly. You could have been driving a chevell and the same idiot may have hit you head on, who knows. The bike can be fixed or replaced so that's simple.

What's important to me is having my relationship with Jesus right so I know where I will spend enternity. So all this other stuff really doesn't matter. Anyway glad you are ok and are able to heal up from this. Now the clown in the other vehicle, that didn't even stop to help, that's another matter, he needs dealing with.

Glad you are on the mend and doing OK. It would be tough for me to give up riding since I have been on a bike since I was 12. There is no promise of tomorrow and you could be living your last day today, a friend lost his wife yesterday in her sleep at 59 and she had not been ill. Like others have said, be sure of where your eternal life is headed and proceed without fear of what can happen.

That sucks. Glad you're ok. I'd say get another Dog, but I gotta admit, I do like a good Chevelle too...
Glad to hear you are home and not laid up in the hospital:2thumbs:

Another round please
I say dont make any decisions right now. You will go through many emotions in the next few months. Glad your still here for your kids. I have been hit head on by a cager and another time went down racing Ortega Hwy(popular racing hwy in SoCal). I still cant stop riding. Its in my blood. It may be the death of me, but I can't give up who I am.

Just got a call from the insurance company, there estimator says he was not comfortable doing the estimate. So they called Twisted choppers in Sioux Falls to go out and perform the estimate. I will post the verdict when I get it.

Glad the injuries weren't MUCH WORSE.
I've always said "You gotta die of something, it might as well taste good".
Well..... you get the point.
Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

Glad to hear your ok. I grew up 3 hours north of you about 2 miles from a reservation so i understand what it can be like out in the middle of nowhere. That being said if i were you i would get another dog. That would have been the same day if you were on a dog or on a Bultaco. The way i see it you got the big one out of the way so now you can just enjoy riding lol. Just my 2 cents. Thanks Kevin
