Interesting paragraph near the end:
Meanwhile, a team of engineers and designers are hard at work at Polaris deciding just what the next Indian will be. “Is it a big V-Twin or could it be something else?” asks Blackwell. “We know as a company we need a broader line going forward, maybe smaller bikes for younger customers. How should we stretch Indian? Should it be stretched at all or just stay big V-Twins? That’s all still to be addressed. One thing we’re not going to do is rush this, we’re going to do it right.”

Stretch an Indian? To do it right would mean acquiring BDM.
Still, holding out hope BDM will remain with Sheldon

As much as for Big Dogs I would guess? Aparently NONE!
:iagree: A decked out Indian Chief retails at about what the BDM Wolf & Bulldog Bagger were going for ($40K and up)...no market for those expensive toys right now.

Polaris is on a roll they also bought Gem Auto from Chrysler, company makes small industrial electric cars. I took an Indian for a ride last October and it vibrates all over, they still rigid mount the motor, at 85 mph my hands were going numb.
