My dog currently has 22k miles on it and everything works just fine, except for the thunder heart ignition module that I'm waiting for to get here. As far as the motor, how much longer do you think I have before i need some top/bottom work done? I ride about 40 miles a day on it.

I wouldn't do anything major until you develope a simptom that tells you it's likely time to. Like some smoke out the exhaust, using more than expected oil, or some unmistakeable noise from the engine. Just my two cents.:2thumbs:

Are you using oil? Are you leaking oil? Does your engine sound and perform okay?
The old saying "If it ain't broke..don't try to fix it" applies to MANY things in life.
Evidently, your maintenance routine (whatever it may be) has paid dividends for you.
Some of the hard riders on this forum (not me!) would probably consider 22,000 miles on an engine "just broken in"!!!

Ah..good to hear. Yeah, i ride my dog every single day to work and back and to run errands. I love this bike. Maintenance has been done on a regular basis and it runs just like it should. I just wanted to know if i should be looking at some motor work done in the nea future. Now that i have your input, i am set to keep riding till it gives me some symptoms before i take it to the vet.
