03 CHOPPER GRIPS?

Any HD grip will fit. Many choices.

Just curious if other BDM stock grips would work as well?

I have an 03 Chopper and I have always been told that most stock HD parts will fit, and that the the 2003 chopper was built basically on the HD Softail. Almost anything that would fit a softail, would fit an 2003 chopper.

Maybe someone else could clarify or debunk this as I'm no mechanical expert, just what I have been told several times.

This is true. Not only the chopper but all models 03 and earlier. As far as the other big dog grips fitting. They would have to be off of an 03 or earlier bike. The newer models used different diameter bars.
