Thanks for the link. That was very disturbing! I need to get me the same kind of recording system they had to record some of the stuff I see day in and day out on the roads around here. That would be good insurance. It may have been just for recreation to record that, but it was also pretty smart.

How about a lisence plate no. ???????????????????

You can hear the one biker tell the cops the crazy guy's plate number near the end of the video.

I almost find it hard to believe this video is legit...can't imagine any biker not taking that truck driver's head off when he got out of his truck!

Even if he had a pipe in his hand, I'd have kept my helmet on long enough for him to have his one swing...then I'd unleash the thunder on him! :yesnod:

I know the truck guy was a complete idiot, but what justifies the 2 crotchrocketeers excuse for blowing through back roads at excessive speeds and passing the truck???whats good for the goose is good for the gander and if I was a cop and called to this scene everyone would be going to court........

I'm not a big crotch-rocket fan either, as I've seen some pretty stupid, inconsiderate and dangerous things done on them.

HOWEVER, I hardly believe trying to pass this pick-up truck legitimately on the left side of the road gives that driver any right to use his truck as a deadly instrument with deliberate intent to commit bodily harm, property damage and possibly vehicular manslaughter....can you? :loony: :nonod:

Couldn't agree more. I read most of the posts on Cyril's website also, and not near as many as I thought were backing the riders. That could have been the end for that biker especially with that tree in the ditch when the truck swerved over.
I have to ask the question though. If that would have been a harley, or other style bike, can you imagine the outrage then!! I think there would have been much different responses.

If you watch it closely the guy in the truck deliberately drives over to the left to run the motorcycle off the road. You know at this point you are dealing with an idiot, possibly not the smartest cracker in the box either. If you drive the roads long enough we all have a run in with the least smartest cracker.

Makes me glad I just got a Go Pro Helmet cam,,,, and a great reminder to start carrying my pistol with me again. I want the pipe carrying idiots of the world to wonder what that guy on that chopper is carrying that pistol for ...Personally I really wouldn't want to pop a cap in him or anyone else unless they forced my hand, approached me or attacked me... Then you got to do what you got to do,,,..... If is more fun to enjoy the scenery just tooling on the scooter out the country roads than burning them up any way,,, videos to follow!!!!

First off I never condoned nor do i think what the truck driver did was in the slightest bit ok...however if you watch the video it shows plain and simple the boyz on the bikes blowin through them back roads at highly excessive speeds, prior to coming up on the truck and passing on the left hand side on a solid double line...so prior to even meeting the truck they were flat out breaking the law and had their own disregard for human safety at this time,do you think they couldve stopped quick enough if your daughter was backing outta the driveway?Or your child ran out in the street to get her ball or chase her dog? So thats all I am saying is maybe had they been doing what they are supposed to have been doing, and obeying the law like responsible riders..this whole incident wouldnt have taken place....Now I am sorry that you feel I am looney or crazy for thinking like a productive law abiding citizen of this USofA ......

....huh??

The way the bikes were apparently speeding was wrong, I agree (although it didn't look like there were too many houses out there).

But..deliberately trying to hit them with his truck because he didn't like it....no way!!

Now, go have a cold one and relax. :yesnod:

I'm in concurrance with most! What the motorcyclist was doing I don't agree with by passing in a non-passing lane but what the truck driver did was uncalled for. He could have ended the bikers life or badly injured him...

Totally agree , just cus you dont like the way someone is driving does not mean that you can try and run them off the road a maybe kill them .

Nothing gives the trucker the right to try and run the bike off the road. I do agree that the bikes were driving inappropriately. But damn it ain't his job to enforce the law. Not even a cop could justify running a bike off the road in that circumstance. Say he would have killed the biker. Can u say vehicular homicide. How about civil liability. This is why I carry off duty everywhere I go. I'm not saying I would have used deadly force at the point were he exited his vehicle with the pipe. But if he is stupid enough to do what he did then you never know what his capabilities are. I'm going home on my bike without a scratch on me or my bike. Just saying.
