I like the lights on a bike. I say try it, if you don't like it you can pull them off.

is that why you have them on your OL?
Not a bad idea, but I can hear the girl clear across the room in a slaughter house. After a couple, it only gets worse...

LOL - Thanks everyone....
I was just trying to get a consensus - seems we're split down the middle.

I think I'll give it a shot - with a switch you can choose on or off. Also easy to remove if I want to dump the idea.

Appreciate everyone's input.

I don't have them on my bike either.......but ...the best way to make your scoot stand out.....:whoop:

in my opinion.....:spank:
Chopper Dave -

I think you misunderstood me. I said I wanted something I could turn on with a "click of a switch" - not a "lick of a click"

re: the high mileage girl on the left - nothing a six pack and a dark room wouldn't cure....

I have debated this many times, and doing this rebuild might be time to re-think the idea.

It has been a few months since your post on the Led/lizard lights yes  or no  thread.. Just wondering if you have decided?
I have been considering it and was going to post the question but found this thread. I am leaning towards installing some but the $250.00-$300.00  price makes me wonder if it is worth it  John

Instead of LED lights why not just get a sign or a T-Shirt that says look at me. Next time the question "What is a biker" comes up. Chances are if you have neon lights on your bike you're not.

I must not be a "biker" then...I have lights on my chopper and they look killer. I get a ton of compliments on them like " wow you ride that show bike around on the street?" which is nice but does not change my life or anything. Some people get way too caught up in the whole "biker" thing anyway...I for one could give a fuck less what anyone else thinks...I do what makes me happy. You should too!

agree with both of you - for me a biker is someone who rides a bike - nothing more nothing less. Personally I don't like them so i won't run them - you do like them and so you do run them - sweet

Thought about adding LED off and on for a couple of years .... then realized that after a couple of years .... I really don't want them.

Now that's not saying I haven't seen some good looking bikes with a little "glow", but I have also seen some seriously trashed out scooters that look like Times Square at night:loony:

I forgot about this post... Well let me say this - I only did 3 lights and the switch is under the side covers. I don't use them in the city - but late at night on the freeway it has a wicked look to it.... No regrets

I wasn't trying to say anyone was or wasn't a biker. I could care less. I guess I can't imagine to many hard core bikers with neon lights. Could be wrong, but doubtful.
